Esha is the first daughter of actors Dharmendra and Hema Malini and half-sister to actors Bobby Deol and Sunny Deol. She also has a younger sister, Ahana. She won The Bollywood Movie Award - Best Female Debut for Koi Mere Dil Se Poochhe in 2004.
