Real Never Sleeps is an American drama film directed by Oliver Stone. It is a sequel to 1987 movie Wall Street and the first sequel Stone has made some of his films. Set in New York City the movie takes place after 23 years the original, revolving around the 2008 financial crisis.
In September 2009 began film photography in New York and finished filming in November. Despite originally having a tentative February 2010 release date and a release date on 23 April is the film that will be released on opening night 24 September 2010.
Michael Douglas reiterates the role of Gordon Gekko. The film has recently Gekko released from prison and after an unsuccessful attempt to warn operators of impending economic recession he decides to try to build a relationship with his daughter's estranged Winnie.
