Bert Blyleven was born 6 April 1951. He is a former Major League Baseball pitcher who played from 1970 to 1992 and was best known for its excellent curveball. He currently living in Ft. Myers, Florida. Blyleven was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 2011.
Blyleven's early career with the Twins was not always comfortable when he was chased by critics and fans. Becomes more vocal, Blyleven was traded to the Texas Rangers by 1 June 1976.He settled well with the Rangers, who has a 2.76 ERA in his first season and throwing a no hitter against the California Angels 22 September 1977, just two weeks sidelined with a groin injury.
Blyleven was unhappy with the Pirates and threatened to resign during the 1980 season if he were not traded. Eventually, the Pirates trade him to Cleveland Indians, 9 December 1980.
