Terry Lee Collins, born in 1927 in 1949 at Midland, Michigan is an American baseball manager for the New York Mets in Major League Baseball. Collins is known as a "fiery and intense manager." Terry Collins has a career major league managing record of 444 wins and 434 loses.
Collins was hired as manager of the Anaheim Angels in 1997 season.He obviously got a vote of confidence from the front office, but the players had Petition GM Bill Bavasi firing him.Collins signed a three-year contract to manage orix Buffaloes in the Pacific League in Japan.
Collins became the leader of China's national baseball team at the end of the year, in time for the 2009 World Baseball Classic.Collins spent the 2010 season as the minor-league field coordinator for the New York Mets organization.He will be named manager of the Mets.

William Howard was born on 6 May 1931 is a former English footballer who played most of his career with New York and San Francisco Giants before the New York Mets.
Mays won two MVP awards and tied a record with 24 appearances in the All Star Game. He finished his career with 660 home runs, third on his retirement and currently fourth all-time.
His father Mays exposed to baseball at an early age, and at the age of five he played catch with his father. At age 10, Mays was allowed to sit on the bench of their fathers, Industrial League.
Mays went on to perform at a high level for each of the last three years the Giants were in New York City. The Giants won the National League pennant in 1962, with Mays led the team in eight offensive categories.

Alexander made his debut in Philadelphia in 1911 pre season City Series. Alexander struck five innings of no hit , no run baseball against the Athletics.
Alexander's 90 shutout is a National League record and his 373 wins are tied with Christy Mathewson for the first time in the National League record book. Alexander was elected to the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1938, the third year in the Hall. Alexander was the only player elected this year.
Alexander was the subject of the 1952 biographical film the winning team, where he was played by Ronald Reagan.
